Chlorogenic Acid Side Effects: What Is Known and What Is Not
Chlorogenic acid side effects are not well documented in the sources we use, and we will not guess a list. The pooled green coffee analyses we cite report weight differences, not a side-effect tally. SodaSlim's coffee row has about 65 mg of chlorogenic acids (130 x 50%), alongside at least 138 mg of caffeine.

What is known
What are the side effects of chlorogenic acid?
We found no source in our set that lists them for a chlorogenic acid supplement, so we do not give a tally.
The meta-analyses behind green coffee extract report weight differences (Asbaghi 2020, green coffee meta) (Kanchanasurakit 2023, chlorogenic acid), and our notes do not record a side-effect count from them. People ask about "chlorogenic acids coffee heartburn", and some report stomach upset after coffee, but we cite no study on it. Treat that as an open question and ask a pharmacist.

The label row
How much chlorogenic acid supplement is in SodaSlim?
About 65 mg per capsule, from 130 mg of green coffee extract at 50% chlorogenic acids.
That is roughly 13% of the 500 mg a day used in one analysis (Kanchanasurakit 2023, chlorogenic acid). A small amount does not rule out a reaction, and no trial tested SodaSlim. The bigger known load is caffeine, and EFSA says 100 mg can affect sleep in some people (EFSA, caffeine safe intakes).

FAQ
SodaSlim questions people ask
Does chlorogenic acid cause heartburn?
We found no study we can cite on that. Coffee drinkers report it, but a report is not proof of cause. If a capsule upsets your stomach, stop and tell a pharmacist or doctor.
Is a chlorogenic acid supplement the same as coffee?
Not exactly. A supplement is an extract standardized to a percentage, here 50%, and its caffeine is a separate matter. The coffee row of SodaSlim does not state its caffeine.
Who should avoid chlorogenic acid supplements?
We have no source naming one group. The SodaSlim label says not for under 18, pregnant or nursing, and to consult a physician about medicines or conditions.
