Fact check
Is SodaSlim legit? A fact check of the label, the seller and the evidence
Is SodaSlim legit? It is a real capsule with a readable label, but legit does not mean proven. Every amount is printed, including 138 mg of caffeine a capsule. No trial tested SodaSlim, FDA does not approve supplements, and the maker is not named. Treat the weight claims as untested and talk to a clinician first.

The verdict
Is SodaSlim legit?
It depends on what you mean by legit: the product and its label exist, but nothing shows the capsule does what the label's starred lines suggest.
We checked six things. On the label, the seller and the rules for ads, SodaSlim is mostly open about what it is. On evidence, it has nothing of its own. Both halves are true at once.
| Check | What we found | Read as |
|---|---|---|
| Label | Five rows, each amount in mg, no proprietary blend, "Contains caffeine" printed (SodaSlim label) | Clear |
| Distributor | Gex Corporation LLP, Ogden, Utah, with an address, email and phone on the label | Named |
| Manufacturer | Not named | Gap |
| FDA status | Supplements are not approved by FDA (FDA 101 supplements) | No approval exists |
| Evidence | No trial of SodaSlim or the five-row mix | None |
| Reviews | None verified on this site | Unknown |

Scam signs
Is SodaSlim a scam?
We found no sign of a scam in the sense of a missing product, but several classic weight-loss ad warning signs are worth knowing.
The FTC's guide to weight-loss ads lists promises that signal a false claim, such as results with no diet or exercise, or fast loss of a large amount (FTC, Truth Behind Weight Loss Ads). The label here does not make those promises, and we do not repeat any that appear on the seller's pages. FTC acts on weight-loss ads regularly. In 2014 one sweep reached about 34 million dollars, and its statement said "the science just isn't there" (FTC 2014, Operation Failed Resolution).
Read price and terms at checkout, which we do not print. If a page shows a countdown, a "last bottles" banner or a testimonial, ask who benefits.
FDA status
Is SodaSlim FDA approved?
No, and that is true of every dietary supplement, because FDA does not approve them for safety or effectiveness before they are sold.
A supplement may describe an effect on normal body structure or function if it carries this statement: "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease." SodaSlim's label prints it after each star (FDA structure/function claims). If a product names a disease it treats, it becomes a drug claim (FDA 101 supplements).
The label also prints a GMP CERTIFIED badge. It is a printed claim to us: we hold no certificate and did not verify it.
Evidence
Is SodaSlim legit for weight loss?
We cannot say it is, because no trial tested this capsule, and the single-ingredient studies found small differences.
The front line is “Metabolic & Appetite Support*”. The label makes no weight-loss claim in those words, so the starred lines are a structure statement, not a promise. Studies of the parts: 15 green coffee trials with 897 people found a 1.23 kg difference (Asbaghi 2020, green coffee meta). A garcinia trial with 135 people at 1,500 mg of HCA for 12 weeks found no difference from placebo (Heymsfield 1998, garcinia RCT), and the label has about 65 mg of HCA (130 x 50%), roughly 4% of that. Green tea outside Japan was 0.04 kg, "not likely clinically important" (Jurgens 2012, Cochrane green tea).
- Label claim“Supports Craving Control & Satiety*”No study we found tested this capsule or these five rows together on cravings or fullness; NIH says little is known about weight-loss supplements. (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss) (Wanders 2011, fibre and appetite)
- Label claim“Promotes Energy Production From Fat*”A 13-trial meta-analysis found caffeine 'might promote' weight loss but results varied widely, and none tested this capsule. (Tabrizi 2019, caffeine and weight) (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss)
- Label claim“Helps Support Healthy Weight Management*”Single-ingredient meta-analyses found about 1.23 kg (green coffee), 0.88 kg (garcinia) and 0.04 kg (green tea outside Japan); no trial tested the mix. (Asbaghi 2020, green coffee meta) (Onakpoya 2011, garcinia meta)
- Common claim“Natural, so safe”NIH's LiverTox links both green tea extract and garcinia products to acute liver injury, and EFSA named no safe dose of EGCG supplements. (LiverTox, green tea) (LiverTox, Garcinia cambogia)
- Common claim“Targets stubborn fat”We found no source showing any supplement targets fat in one body area; the FTC's guide to weight-loss ads lists the promises that signal a false claim. (FTC, Truth Behind Weight Loss Ads) (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss)
- Label front“Metabolic & Appetite Support*”A starred line. A supplement may describe an effect on normal body structure or function, but it must carry the FDA disclaimer; naming a disease would make it a drug claim. (FDA structure/function claims) (FDA supplement labeling guide)
- Common question“Can it replace a medicine?”No. Do not stop or change a prescribed medicine because of a supplement. A clinician can discuss prescription options and who they are for. (NIDDK, Prescription weight medications) (FDA 101 supplements)
Claims as commonly marketed for capsules like this, and the lines on the label front (SodaSlim label). Health claims in ads need competent and reliable scientific evidence (FTC health products guidance).
Our reading of each row
Each needle is an editor's judgment of how well human studies support the label claim for that ingredient alone. It is not a measurement and not a rating of SodaSlim.

What about SodaSlim complaints and the BBB?
We hold no complaint record or business-bureau profile to cite for SodaSlim, so we print none.
That is not a clean bill of health. A new product may have no record, and a file can exist that we did not find. Look up the seller's name and order ID before you pay, and keep your records.
If you have a problem, the order desk handles refunds and tracking on placed orders at +1 (302) 200-3480 or [email protected]. You can report a reaction to the FDA (FDA report a problem). See the refund policy for the steps.
Safety
What are the real risks to weigh?
Caffeine is the first one: a capsule holds at least 138 mg, about a third of the 400 mg a day FDA gives as a reference for healthy adults (FDA, Spilling the Beans caffeine).
Count coffee and tea on top, and use the caffeine budget. Liver injury has been reported with garcinia products and concentrated green tea extract (van Breemen 2025, garcinia liver) (LiverTox, green tea). It is uncommon, and nothing says SodaSlim was involved. Dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or belly pain: stop and get care.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take a prescription medicine, a thyroid, blood pressure, heart-rhythm, anxiety, sleep or diabetes medicine, or have liver disease or a heart condition. Caffeine and green tea extract can interact with medicines. The label says not for under 18 or pregnant or nursing mothers.
Before you order
How can you decide if SodaSlim is right for you?
Check the label, add up your caffeine, ask a clinician and read the checkout terms before you pay.
- Read the label on the supplement facts page, then check your bottle with the batch check.
- Keep taking prescribed medicine, and ask a clinician about options such as those NIDDK lists (NIDDK, Prescription weight medications).
- Order only from the seller's checkout; we know of no store listing.
Chest pain, fainting or trouble breathing: call 911.

Questions about whether SodaSlim is legit
Is SodaSlim a registered or approved product?
Dietary supplements are not approved by FDA, so SodaSlim holds no approval. The label prints the FDA disclaimer instead. It also prints a GMP CERTIFIED badge, but we hold no certificate for it and did not verify it.
Does the SodaSlim label make weight-loss claims?
The front reads “Metabolic & Appetite Support*” with three starred claim lines. The label does not use the words weight loss or fat burning. The starred lines are structure statements, and we found no trial that tested them on this capsule.
How do I know the seller is not a scam?
You cannot know from a page. Use signs you can check: a named distributor on the label, an order desk phone number, a tracked return address, and terms printed at checkout. Keep your order ID, and pay with a method that offers dispute rights.
Who is behind this website?
Sodaslimhealth, a USA Authorized SodaSlim Retailer, runs it. We are not the manufacturer, the label names Gex Corporation LLP as distributor, and we earn money when you order through our links. The site inbox cannot see orders.
Does a refund policy mean a product works?
No. A money-back offer is a business term, not evidence of an effect. Read the terms at checkout, because the length is not printed on this site, and keep tracking numbers if you ever return a bottle.
Are SodaSlim claims backed by science?
Not on the finished capsule. Studies of single ingredients found small differences, and the amounts on the label are much lower than those studied for coffee and garcinia. No trial tested SodaSlim, so the claims remain untested.
