The list

What are the SodaSlim ingredients?

A SodaSlim capsule holds five printed ingredients: green coffee bean extract, raspberry ketone, garcinia extract, caffeine anhydrous and green tea extract. The shell is hypromellose, a vegetable capsule.

The label prints serving size 1 capsule and 30 servings per container, with an amount in milligrams on every row (SodaSlim label). Add the rows and a capsule holds 658 mg of extract (4 x 130 + 138). It is a capsule, not a soda, and it holds no carbonation.

Row by row

What is in SodaSlim, one ingredient at a time?

Each ingredient has its own profile page; the strip below lines up the five printed amounts.

  1. GGreen Coffee130 mg per capsule
  2. RRaspberry Ketone130 mg per capsule
  3. HGarcinia130 mg per capsule
  4. CCaffeine138 mg per capsule
  5. TGreen Tea130 mg per capsule

The five rows of the Supplement Facts panel. Amounts are per capsule as printed on the label. Check the panel on your own bottle; if it differs, the bottle wins.

The caffeine anhydrous page covers the row that matters most for daily totals.

Beyond the five

Does the SodaSlim ingredients list hide anything?

No amounts are hidden: the label is not a proprietary blend, and every row prints its mg. A few facts are still missing.

  • The only other ingredient is hypromellose (vegetable capsule).
  • The panel says "Contains caffeine", and the caffeine row is 138 mg.
  • The coffee row's own caffeine is not stated, so say "at least 138 mg", never "exactly".
  • The label does not say if the raspberry ketone is natural or synthetic, or who tested the percentages.
  • The manufacturer is not named. The label says "Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients" and names Gex Corporation LLP of Ogden, Utah as distributor.

The label prints NON-GMO, MADE IN USA and GMP CERTIFIED badges on the front. No certifier is named, and we did not verify them. The panel shows ** for Daily Value, meaning none is established for those rows (FDA supplement labeling guide).

Label vs research

How do SodaSlim ingredient amounts compare with studies?

For three rows the active part of a capsule is a small fraction of the doses that research used, and none of that research tested SodaSlim.

A 2023 meta-analysis of 3 trials (103 people) used 500 mg a day or more of chlorogenic acid and found a 1.30 kg difference (Kanchanasurakit 2023, chlorogenic acid). The label has about 65 mg, which is 13% of 500 mg. A 1998 trial gave 135 people 1,500 mg of HCA for 12 weeks and found no difference from placebo (Heymsfield 1998, garcinia RCT). The label has about 65 mg, about 4%. EFSA flagged EGCG supplements at 800 mg a day as a concern (EFSA 2018, green tea catechins), and the label has about 58 mg, roughly one fourteenth of that. Caffeine at 138 mg is about a third of FDA's 400 mg a day reference (FDA, Spilling the Beans caffeine).

  • Studies: chlorogenic acid at 500 mg a day or more in three trials (103 people); the label's about 65 mg is 130 mg x 50%. Studies used about 7.7 times the label amount. (Kanchanasurakit 2023, chlorogenic acid) (Asbaghi 2020, green coffee meta)

  • Raspberry ketone130 mg on the label

No human trial of raspberry ketone alone was found; the animal study mixed it into feed at 0.5% to 2% of the diet. No human trial range found. (Morimoto 2005, raspberry ketone mice) (Lopez 2013, multi-ingredient raspberry ketone)

  • Garcinia (HCA, about)65 mg on the label

Studies: 1,500 mg of HCA a day for 12 weeks in the JAMA trial (135 people); the label's about 65 mg is 130 mg x 50%. Studies used about 23 times the label amount. (Heymsfield 1998, garcinia RCT) (Onakpoya 2011, garcinia meta)

  • Caffeine138 mg on the label

Reference levels: 200 mg a day in pregnancy (ACOG) and 400 mg a day for healthy adults (FDA); not study doses. A reference level, not a study dose: the label is 34% of the higher level. (ACOG, caffeine in pregnancy) (FDA, Spilling the Beans caffeine)

  • Green tea (EGCG, about)58 mg on the label

Reference level: EFSA raised a safety concern about EGCG supplements at 800 mg a day; the label's about 58 mg is 130 mg x 45%. A reference level, not a study dose: the label is 7% of the higher level. (EFSA 2018, green tea catechins) (Jurgens 2012, Cochrane green tea)

Log scale: each gridline is ten times the one before. Studied ranges are daily amounts from the trials linked on each row; rows marked as a reference show a reference level, not a study dose. A bar being far away does not mean the capsule is unsafe or useless; it means the study results cannot be borrowed for it, because none tested SodaSlim or this five-row combination.

The formula page shows the same gap as a chart.

Care

Are there cautions about the SodaSlim ingredients?

Yes. Two rows, garcinia and green tea extract, have been linked to liver injury in reports, and caffeine adds to your daily total.

NIH's LiverTox lists garcinia products in acute liver injury, which can be severe (LiverTox, Garcinia cambogia), and green tea extract in injury that included liver failure and transplant (LiverTox, green tea). These reports mostly involve concentrated extracts, and nothing says SodaSlim was involved. Dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or belly pain means stop and get care.

Keep taking prescribed medicine, and ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you take any: caffeine and green tea extract can interact with medicines (NCCIH using supplements wisely). The label says not for under 18, pregnant or nursing. Chest pain, fainting or trouble breathing: call 911. Weigh your caffeine in the caffeine budget.

FAQ

SodaSlim questions people ask

What is in SodaSlim besides caffeine?

Four other rows: green coffee bean extract, raspberry ketone and garcinia extract at 130 mg each, and green tea extract at 130 mg. The capsule shell is hypromellose. The coffee and tea extracts also carry small amounts of their own caffeine.

Is there a proprietary blend in SodaSlim?

No. Each of the five rows prints its own amount in milligrams, so nothing is hidden behind a blend total. What the label leaves out is who made it and who tested the percentages.

How much green coffee extract is in one SodaSlim capsule?

130 mg, standardized to 50% chlorogenic acids, so about 65 mg of chlorogenic acids (130 x 50%). Studies that found a difference used 500 mg a day or more of chlorogenic acid.

Does SodaSlim contain natural or synthetic raspberry ketone?

The label does not say. It prints Raspberry Ketone 130 mg with no percentage and no source. We found no human trial of the ketone alone.

Are the SodaSlim capsules vegetarian or free of allergens?

The shell is hypromellose, described as a vegetable capsule. The label prints no vegetarian, gluten-free or allergen statement, so we make no such claim. Ask the distributor on the label.

How many mg are in the whole SodaSlim capsule?

The five printed rows add up to 658 mg (4 x 130 + 138). That is the extract total. The capsule shell is not counted in it.
