SodaSlim disclaimer: health, FDA and affiliate notes

Quick answer

The SodaSlim disclaimer is short: these pages are information, not medical advice. The label statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, and no trial has tested the capsule. This site is a retailer, not the maker, and earns money from order links. Prices and terms are as printed at checkout, and results are never promised.

Health

Is the information on this site medical advice?

No. The pages explain a supplement label and published research. They cannot take your medicines, conditions, age or caffeine habits into account.

SodaSlim is a dietary supplement in vegetable capsules, not a drug. It is a capsule, not a soda, and it is not a treatment for obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure or any disease. The label says to consult a physician prior to use, especially with a medication or a medical condition, and it says the capsule is not for anyone under 18, or for pregnant or nursing mothers.

Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed. Chest pain, fainting or trouble breathing: call 911. Never delay care because of something you read here.

Before you take it

SodaSlim is a dietary supplement, not a drug and not a treatment for any condition. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you take any prescription medicine, a thyroid, blood pressure, heart-rhythm, anxiety, depression, sleep or diabetes medicine, or if you have liver disease, a heart condition or high blood pressure: caffeine and green tea extract can interact with medicines. Not for under 18, pregnant or nursing (label). Chest pain, fainting, a racing heart that will not settle or trouble breathing: call 911. See side effects and interactions.

FDA

What does the FDA statement on the SodaSlim label mean?

It means the FDA has not evaluated the starred statements on the bottle. The label says so in these words: "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease."

A supplement may describe an effect on normal body structure or function if it carries that statement. Naming a disease would make the claim a drug claim (FDA structure/function claims). The FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA 101 supplements).

Four label lines and how this site treats them
Line on the frontHow we treat it
“Metabolic & Appetite Support*”Quoted, with the star. We found no trial of the capsule.
“Supports Craving Control & Satiety*”Quoted, then compared with single-ingredient research.
“Promotes Energy Production From Fat*”Quoted. We found no source that shows it for this capsule.
“Helps Support Healthy Weight Management*”Quoted. Weight outcomes belong to named studies only.

Read the claims in context on the claims page.

Evidence

Has SodaSlim been tested in people?

We found no trial that tested SodaSlim or its five-row combination. Every study we describe tested a single ingredient, a different product or a different amount.

A 2020 meta-analysis of 15 trials with 897 people found a difference of 1.23 kg with green coffee extract (Asbaghi 2020, green coffee meta). That sum is small, it came from many different products and doses, and it is not a promise. The label has about 65 mg of chlorogenic acids (130 mg x 50%), and the studied amount in one review was 500 mg a day or more (Kanchanasurakit 2023, chlorogenic acid).

Results do not transfer to this capsule, and we give no expectation of a change in weight. The FTC says health claims need reliable scientific evidence, and that testimonials are not proof (FTC health products guidance).

  • Green coffee bean extract

    Little28 of 100

A handful of small trials, many with bias concerns, with mixed results. (Onakpoya 2011, green coffee review) (Asbaghi 2020, green coffee meta)

  • Raspberry ketone

    Very little8 of 100

Mostly lab and animal work; very few human trials of the ingredient itself. (Morimoto 2005, raspberry ketone mice) (Lopez 2013, multi-ingredient raspberry ketone)

  • Garcinia extract

    Little18 of 100

A few small human trials with mixed results; reports of liver injury exist. (Onakpoya 2011, garcinia meta) (van Breemen 2025, garcinia liver)

  • Caffeine

    Mixed40 of 100

Well studied for alertness; evidence for body-weight outcomes is limited and mixed. (Tabrizi 2019, caffeine and weight) (FDA, Spilling the Beans caffeine)

  • Green tea extract

    Little30 of 100

Trials on body weight are small and mixed; liver-injury reports exist at high catechin doses. (Jurgens 2012, Cochrane green tea) (LiverTox, green tea)

Our reading of the sources, not a measurement. Each needle is an editor's judgment of how well human studies support the label claim for that one ingredient, at studied amounts. It does not rate SodaSlim: no study tested the capsule or this five-row combination.

Money

Does this site earn money from SodaSlim sales?

Yes. Sodaslimhealth is a "USA Authorized SodaSlim Retailer", and it earns money when a reader orders through its links. It is not the maker.

That interest could color our writing, so we set rules for it: the label comes first, every study comes with its limits, and weak spots are named. We publish no star rating, review count or customer percentage, because none is verified (FTC fake reviews rule).

Prices and terms

Never printed here. Read the live checkout for price, shipping and the guarantee.

Seals and badges

The label prints NON-GMO, MADE IN USA and GMP CERTIFIED. We hold no certificate and did not verify them.

Reviews

None verified. Fill-in slots show where real, checked reviews would appear.

Money-back badge badge
Money-back badge

A seller badge for the money-back guarantee. The length and terms are printed at checkout; return postage is on you.

Each badge comes from the seller's own image set. A badge is a claim by the seller, not a certificate: none names a certifier, lab, audit or facility. The FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold (FDA 101 supplements).

Risks

What risks does this disclaimer not cover?

No disclaimer can cover individual risk. Supplements can cause reactions and can interact with medicines, even though they are sold without prescriptions (NCCIH using supplements wisely).

One capsule has at least 138 mg of caffeine, about a third of the FDA's 400 mg a day reference for healthy adults, before any coffee or tea. Reports of liver injury exist for some garcinia and concentrated green tea products, and nothing says SodaSlim was involved. Dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or belly pain: stop and get care. Report a reaction to the FDA (FDA report a problem).

The full lists are on the side effects page and the page on who should skip it.

Accuracy

How accurate are these pages, and what if I find a mistake?

We take care to match the label and the sources, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or current. Labels, studies and checkout terms change.

The date at the bottom of each page shows the last update. Compare the page with the bottle in your hand. If a number or a sentence looks wrong, email [email protected] (Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET). That inbox cannot see orders.

Lot references such as SS-26/SO-2428 are seller references, not laboratory proof. No lab report is published here. We link to outside sites for sources; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Questions

Where do I send questions about this disclaimer?

Send them to the website inbox for anything about these pages, and to the order desk for anything about an order you have placed.

Product questions can go to the distributor named on the label. We cannot answer for that company. Our terms of use and privacy policy cover the rest of the site. Every desk is listed on the contact page.

FAQ

Disclaimer questions

Is SodaSlim approved by the FDA?

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold. The label carries the statement that its claims have not been evaluated by the FDA. This site does not say the capsule is approved, registered or cleared by any agency.

Does this site give medical advice?

No. It reads a label and summarizes published studies. For medicines, heart or blood pressure issues, anxiety, sleep trouble, liver or thyroid conditions, diabetes, pregnancy or nursing, ask a doctor or pharmacist before using any supplement.

Do results on this site apply to SodaSlim?

No. The studies we describe tested single ingredients, different products or different amounts. We found no trial of SodaSlim. A result from one of them is not an expectation for you, and we do not set one.

Does the site earn money if I buy?

Yes. Sodaslimhealth is a retailer, and it earns money from orders placed through its links. It is not the maker. The price you pay is the one printed at checkout, and the link does not change it.

Are the badges on the SodaSlim label verified?

No. The label prints NON-GMO, MADE IN USA and GMP CERTIFIED badges. We hold no certificate for them and did not verify them, so we report them only as printed and do not repeat them as our own claim.

Where are the reviews and ratings?

There are none verified, so we print no rating, review count or customer percentage. The reviews page shows fill-in slots. The FTC treats fake reviews as a problem, and we would rather show none than unverified ones.

Can I rely on the lot number as proof of testing?

No. The lot and certificate references come from the seller and are not laboratory proof. No lab report is published here. Ask the seller for documents you can read before you treat any such number as evidence.
