Why do some people complain of jitters or stomach upset?
Caffeine is the first suspect for jitters, and one capsule has at least 138 mg of it, which is about a third of FDA's 400 mg a day reference for healthy adults (FDA, Spilling the Beans caffeine).
That figure is before any coffee or tea, and the label does not state caffeine in the green coffee row. Stomach upset is also listed among possible garcinia effects: in one pooled review, stomach events were twice as common in one study (Onakpoya 2011, garcinia meta). Neither point proves this capsule caused anyone's symptoms.
